Remove/Install Steering Column Module - AR54.25-P-2802XG

	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Commission steering column tube module (2).
		Only when replacing steering column tube module (2).	AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2	Move steering wheel all the way to the rear.
3	Turn steering wheel to center position (front wheels in straight-ahead position).
4	Remove steering wheel.		AR46.10-P-0100XG
5	Unclip cover (1) from steering column tube module (2).	Start unclipping at bottom of cover (3).

6	Detach steering column tube module (2) from steering column tube.	Do not operate the red safety catch in the steering column tube module (2). Otherwise, clock spring contact is destroyed.
		If the steering column tube module (2) is in the correct installation position, the assembly indicator (4) is retracted. When installing a new steering column tube module (2) the transport protection (7) can break off.
7	Detach the guide (5) together with the electrical connector (6) from the steering column tube module (2) and remove the steering column tube module (2).
8	Install in reverse order.
