| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Open front stowage compartment (1) or rear stowage compartment (2) in center console. | ||
| 3 | Remove insert (3) from housing (5). | ||
| 4 | Release housing (5) with pliers and pull out of clamping sleeve (4) until the electrical connector (6) is accessible. | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector (6). | ||
| 6 | Remove housing (5). | ||
| 7 | Unclip clamping sleeve (4) from front stowage compartment (1) or rear stowage compartment (2) by pushing back the two catch hooks and remove. | ||
| 8 | Install in reverse order. |
