	Remove
1	Remove cover (1) over brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)
2	Mark height of fill level of brake fluid on brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)
3	Unscrew cap (3) from brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)
4	Connect filler/bleeder unit to brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)

6	Detach cap (6) from clutch slave cylinder (5)
7	Slide hose onto bleed screw (7) on clutch slave cylinder (5)
	Bleeding
8	Switch on filler/bleeder unit
	000 588 01 82 00 Filling unit	Set pressure of 2.0 bar.	WS25.00-P-0016B
9	Open bleed screw (7) and let brake fluid flow out	Brake fluid must emerge clean and free of bubbles.
10	Close bleed screw (7)	Bleed screw at clutch slave cylinder	*BA25.20-P-1001-01G
11	Switch off filler/bleeder unit
	000 588 01 82 00 Filling unit	Pressure must drop for approx. 60 s to ambient pressure (0.0 bar on measuring instrument).	WS25.00-P-0016B
12	Switch on filler/bleeder unit	Build up pressure of 2.0 bar for approx. 10 s.
	Install
13	Detach hose from bleed screw (7)
14	Detach filler/bleeder unit from brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)
15	Correct the fill level of the brake fluid in the brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)	Observe marking.
16	Screw on cap (3)
	Check
17	Check the clutch operator for proper operation and leaktightness
18	Attach cap (6) to clutch slave cylinder (5)
19	Install rear section of lower engine compartment lining	Transmission 716.7 in model 172	AR61.20-P-1105W

20	Install cover (1) over brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)
