Rear Axle Electronic Level Control Unit - GF32.33-P-3405FG
Model 213.2
up to model year 2021
except code 459 (Steel suspension with adjustable damping)
except code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL)
Shown: Model 213.2
Location
The rear axle electronic level control unit is located in the left rear of the trunk.
On vehicles with rear axle electronic level control, the same component parts (AIR BODY CONTROL relay (K40/8kR), AIR BODY CONTROL compressor (A9/1) and AIR BODY CONTROL pressure relief valve (A9/1y1)) are used as on vehicles with Code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL).
Tasks
The rear axle electronic level control unit has the following tasks:
- Reading in of signals
- Evaluation of input factors
- Actuation of components
Reading in of signals
The input factors are read in over the following connections:
- Direct line
- Chassis FlexRay (Flex E)
Direct line
The signals from the following components are read via a direct line:
- Left rear level sensor (B22/7)
- Right rear level sensor (B22/10)
Chassis FlexRay
The rear axle electronic level control unit uses the chassis FlexRay and receives signals from the following control units:
- Electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)
- Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4)
- The steering wheel angle is sensed by the steering wheel angle sensor (N49) and delivered by the steering column tube module control unit (N80).
- CDI control unit (N3/9) (with diesel engine)
- ME-SFI control unit (N3/10) (with gasoline engine)
- Powertrain control unit (N127)
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors are evaluated by the microprocessor and the corresponding components are actuated.
Actuation of components
Components are actuated with the following connection:
- Direct line
Direct line
The following components are actuated via direct lines:
- AIR BODY CONTROL relay for actuating the AIR BODY CONTROL compressor with the following component parts:
- AIR BODY CONTROL pressure relief valve
- Rear axle electronic level control valve unit (Y36/8)
