Remove/Install Elastomer Bearing Of Spring Control Arm On Rear Wheel Carrier - AR35.20-P-3401MNE

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove spring control arm   AR35.20-P-0119MNE 
2 Detach brake caliper support with brake caliper and hang up to one side with lines still connected NOTES
Do not subject the lines to tension. Otherwise they may be damaged.

3 Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (3) with rolling-element bearing grease    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS High temperature anti-friction bearing grease (NLGI grade 2)   BB00.40-P-0265-01A
    SPECIAL TOOL Extraction and insertion tool Fig 2
4 Position extraction and insertion tool (3) on wheel carrier (2) and elastomer bearing (1) as shown IMPORTANTSPECIAL TOOL Make sure that the extraction and insertion tool (3) is seated correctly.

5 Pull elastomer bearing (1) out of wheel carrier (2) in direction of arrow and remove    
INSTALLING Install     
6 Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (3) again with rolling-element bearing grease    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS High temperature anti-friction bearing grease (NLGI grade 2)   BB00.40-P-0265-01A

7 Position extraction and insertion tool (3) with new elastomer bearing (1) on wheel carrier (2) as shown SPECIAL TOOL Extraction and insertion tool Fig 2
8 Pull new elastomer bearing (1) into wheel carrier (2) IMPORTANT Only pull in the elastomer bearing (1) until the protrusion at the wheel carrier (2) is the same on both sides.
The elastomer bearing (1) must be seated in the center of the wheel carrier (2).
 
9 Detach extraction and insertion tool (3) SPECIAL TOOL Extraction and insertion tool Fig 2
10 Attach brake caliper support together with brake caliper   AR42.10-P-0080LW
11 Install spring control arm   AR35.20-P-0119MNE
