	Remove
1	Remove underbody paneling.	Model 213.088/089/264/288/289	AR61.30-P-1001LWE
2	Remove diagonal strut.	Model 213.088/089/264/288/289
3	Remove spring link.	Model 213.064/264	AR35.20-P-0119MND

4	Remove exhaust system.	Model 213.064/264 with engine 276.8 except code 598 (Gasoline particulate filter (OPF) with sensor system)	AR49.10-P-7142MND

5	Position bracket (4) with sleeve (3), thrust piece (5) and press (6) on rear axle carrier (2) and elastomer bearing (1) as shown.	Use sleeve (3) with number 204 589 04 43 01 from extraction and insertion tool. Use bracket (4) with number 220 589 01 43 01 and thrust piece (5) with number 220 589 01 43 04 from press-out/press-in tool.

6	Press elastomer bearing (1) out of rear axle carrier (2).	The stroke of the press (6) is very low. The press (6) therefore has to be released several times, the thrust spindle (7) of the bracket (4) adjusted and the press (6) operated again.
	Install
7	Position bracket (4) with sleeve (8), thrust piece (9) and press (6) on rear axle carrier (2) and new elastomer bearing (1) as shown.	Use sleeve (8) with number 204 589 04 43 02 from extraction and insertion tool. Use thrust piece (9) with number 220 589 01 43 07 from press-out/press-in tool.

8	Press elastomer bearing (1) as far as possible into rear axle carrier (2).	The stroke of the press (6) is very low. The press (6) therefore has to be released several times, the thrust spindle (7) of the bracket (4) adjusted and the press (6) operated again.
9	Remove special tools.
10	Install spring link.	Model 213.064/264	AR35.20-P-0119MND
