Location
The rear seat heater control units are located on the left-hand side of the trunk behind the paneling.
Task
The left rear seat heater control unit communicates via the left rear seat LIN (LIN B20) with the left rear seat control unit (N32/6).
Depending on the request involved, the left rear seat heater control unit actuates the following heater pads directly:
- Left rear seat surface heater pad (R13/5)
- Left rear backrest heater pad (R13/6)
For temperature control of the seat heater, the left rear seat heater control unit reads in the signals from the following temperature sensors directly:
- Left rear seat sitting surface heater pad temperature sensor (R13/5b1)
- Left rear backrest heater pad temperature sensor (R13/6b1)
The right rear seat heater control unit communicates via the right rear seat LIN (LIN B21) with the right rear seat control unit (N32/5).
The right rear seat heater control unit actuates the following heater pads directly:
- Right rear seat surface heater pad (R13/7)
- Right rear backrest heater pad (R13/8)
For temperature control of the seat heater, the right rear seat heater control unit reads in the signals from the following temperature sensors directly:
- Right rear seat sitting surface heater pad temperature sensor (R13/7b1)
- Right rear backrest heater pad temperature sensor (R13/8b1)
