| 2 | Remove crankshaft position sensor | AR15.12-P-2134MRH | |
| 3 | Remove pulse ring (3) | Remove pulse ring (3) carefully. Do not use sharp-edged tools. The rubber lining of the pulse ring (3) must not be destroyed. The pulse ring (3) will otherwise be damaged. The pulse ring (3) must not come into contact with external magnetic fields. The pulse ring (3) will otherwise be damaged. |

| 4 | Check rubber lining of pulse ring (3) for damage | If damage occurs to the rubber lining ↓ Replace pulse ring (3). |

| 5 | Check end cover (5) and radial shaft sealing ring for damage | In the case of leaks on the end cover (5) or the radial shaft sealing ring ↓ Replace end cover (5) with radial shaft sealing ring. |

| 6 | Clean the contact surfaces of the pulse ring (3) and the crankshaft flange | Do not use sharp-edged or pointed tools or emery cloth to clean. The surfaces are destroyed otherwise and the pulse ring (3) and crankshaft will be unusable. |
