	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove lower rear engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105LWE
		Do not install lower rear engine compartment lining until after the leak check.
2	Remove left and right underfloor paneling.		AR61.30-P-1001LWE
3	Remove cross strut (72) on frame floor assembly.	Bolt, rear reinforcement to frame floor assembly	*BA61.10-P-1004-01L
4	Remove temperature sensor upstream of gasoline particulate filter (B163/4) and place to one side.		AR07.04-P-0070MNE
5	Unscrew union nuts (5) and place lines to one side.	Coat thread with heat-resistant lubricating paste.

7	Support center exhaust system (1) and secure against falling down.

8	Remove clamps (2).	Replace clamps (2).

12.1	Remove clamp at connecting point (t) of center exhaust system (1).	If a clamp is installed. Replace clamp.

12.2	Separate center exhaust system (1) from the rear muffler at the connecting point (t).	If there is no clamp installed. Install a clamp at the connecting point (t).

13	Deburr the connecting point (t).	If there is no clamp installed.
14	Lower center exhaust system (1) and remove downwards.

	Check
15	Check decoupling elements (3) for wear or damage.	If there are problems, ↓ replace the decoupling element (3) in question.

16	Check elastomer bearings (4) for damage or wear.	If there are problems, ↓ replace the elastomer bearing (4) in question.

	Clean
17	Remove combustion and corrosion residues from separating points.
18	Install in the reverse order.
19	Check installation position and for unobstructed movement of center exhaust system (1).	If there are problems, ↓ Correct installation position of center exhaust system (1).
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
20	Perform engine test run and check leak tightness of the exhaust system.
21	Install lower rear engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105LWE
22	Install in the reverse order
