Remove/Install Parking System Control Unit - AR54.65-P-0018LWE

Model 213 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC system (PTS))

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Commission parking system control unit (N62) When replacing parking system control unit (N62).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2.1 Remove left luggage compartment lining at side Model 213.0/1 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC system (PTS))

2.2 Remove left side load compartment lining Model 213.2 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC system (PTS))

3 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m)    
4 Remove subwoofer from trunk Model 213 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC system (PTS)) with code 811 (High-End sound system)

5 Remove bolts (1), unscrew nuts (2) and remove bracket (3) with sound system control unit and place to one side Model 213 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC system (PTS)) with code 810 (Premium sound system)

Model 213 with code 235 (Parking Pilot with PARKTRONIC) with code 810 (Premium sound system)
Model 213 with code 235 (Parking Pilot with PARKTRONIC) with code 811 (High-End sound system)
IMPORTANT The electrical connectors need not be detached.
 
6 Unscrew nuts (4), remove bracket (5) with control units and place to one side Model 213 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC system (PTS)) with code 459 (Steel suspension with adjustable damping)

IMPORTANT The electrical connectors need not be detached.
IMPORTANT The number of control units installed on the holder (5) can vary depending on the vehicle equipment installed.
 
7 Unscrew nut (6), remove bolts (7) and remove bracket (8) with control units then place to one side If installed.
IMPORTANT The electrical connections must be disconnected.
IMPORTANT The number of control units installed on the bracket (8) can vary depending on the vehicle equipment installed.
 
8 Remove bolts (9) and remove bracket (10)    
9 Disconnect electrical connectors (11) IMPORTANT The number of electrical connections (11) may vary, depending on the vehicle equipment involved.  
10 Unclip parking system control unit (N62) from bracket (10) (arrow) and take off    
11 Install in the reverse order
