	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove cover from center console.	Model 213 with transmission 716 as of model year 2021 with code 301 (Ashtray package)	AR68.20-P-2350LWA
		Model 213 with transmission 725 as of model year 2021 with code 301 (Ashtray package)	AR68.20-P-2350LW
		Model 238 with transmission 716 as of model year 2021 with code 301 (Ashtray package)	AR68.20-P-2350LWP
		Model 238 with transmission 725 as of model year 2021 with code 301 (Ashtray package)	AR68.20-P-2350LWO
3	Open flap (1).
4	Pull insert (2) out of housing (4).	The cigarette lighter with ashtray lighting at the front (R3) consists of the insert (2) and the housing (4)
5.1	Release housing (4) using pull-off device (3) and remove.	Model 213 238 as of model year 2021 with code 301 (Ashtray package) Extraction tool	Fig 1
5.2	Release housing (4) using pull-off device (3) and pull out of clamping sleeve (6) far enough to gain access to the electrical connector (5).	Model 205 253 293 with code 301 (Ashtray package) Model 213 238 up to model year 2021 with code 301 (Ashtray package) Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. 6	Release and disconnect electrical connector (5) and remove housing (4).	Model 205, 253, 293 with code 301 (Ashtray package) Model 213, 238 up to model year 2021 with code 301 (Ashtray package)
7	Release catch hooks and remove clamping sleeve (6).	When replacing the housing (4). Ensure correct installation position of clamping sleeve (6).
8	Install in the reverse order.
