Location
The left lower control panel and the right lower control panel are installed in the center console.
Tasks
The following buttons can be installed in the left lower control panel, depending on the equipment specification:
- DYNAMIC SELECT switch (with automatic transmission)
- Manual shift mode button (with AMG vehicles)
- Vehicle level button (with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL), except AMG vehicles)
- Comfort/Sport button (with AMG vehicles)
- Rear window roller sun blind button (with CODE 540 (Electric roller sun blind for rear window))
- Parking system button (with code 235 (Parking Pilot) or with code P44 (Parking package))
- Volume control button
- "ON" button
- ECO start/stop function button (except hybrid vehicles)
- Operating mode selection button (with hybrid vehicles)
- AMG ESP® Sport OFF button (with AMG vehicles)
The following buttons can be installed in the right lower control panel, depending on the equipment specification:
- DYNAMIC SELECT switch (with manual transmission)
- Volume control button
- "ON" button
- ECO start/stop function button (except hybrid vehicles)
- Vehicle level button (with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL), except AMG vehicles)
- Rear window roller sun blind button (with CODE 540 (Electric roller sun blind for rear window))
- Sport exhaust system button (with CODE U78 (AMG sport exhaust system))
- Parking system button (N72/5s10) (with code 235 (Parking Pilot) or with code P44 (Parking package))
The signals from all the buttons are read in by the left lower control panel and the right lower control panel and read in over the LCP LIN (LIN A3), Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9), telematics CAN (CAN A) and the head unit (A26/17) and then sent to the user interface CAN (CAN HMI).
