The front signal acquisition and actuation module is located on the left A-pillar behind the instrument panel.

Networking 

The front signal acquisition and actuation module is connected to the network architecture of the vehicle. Various control units, sensors, switch groups and actuators are networked with the front signal acquisition and actuation module.

Controlling functions 

The front signal acquisition and actuation module processes the signals from various sensors and also evaluates the following:
