General
Many functions can be used from the rear passenger compartment via the Rear Seat Entertainment system.
The Rear Seat Entertainment System is a system with its own control system, which however, together with the multimedia system, forms a multi-seat entertainment system. As a result, almost all multimedia system functions are also supported by the Rear Seat Entertainment System.
Not used, e.g. are the driver-specific settings and driver assistance systems, smartphone integration and Digital Owner's Manual.
Bluetooth® headphones are not part of the Rear Seat
Entertainment System equipment, but can be ordered separately.
Use of the Rear Seat Entertainment System can be switched off at the head unit (child safety lock).
Overview of system components
The Rear Seat Entertainment System chiefly consists of the following components:
- Rear entertainment unit control unit
