- Switch on measuring instrument by pressing the ON button.
The version and the serial number are displayed for several seconds. Either the menu or the main menu will then appear, depending on which measuring instrument you are using.

- Press the STEP button.
Articulation angle measurement is selected.

Erasing memory
The Erase memory function allows you to erase the memory before measuring an angle for the second time. However, this is not essential, as after the first angle has been stored, the angles from previous measurements are erased from the memory. The memory is likewise erased if the inclinometer is switched off in the meantime.
- Press the MEMORY button.
The values saved in the memory are displayed.

- Press SAVE button.

You are asked to confirm that you want to erase the memory before the values are actually deleted.
- Press the STEP button.
The memory is erased.

The confirmation that you want to erase the memory is displayed for a short time. The main menu then appears again.
