| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Move driver seat to end position toward rear | ||
| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
| 3 | Remove door sill molding | Model 213 | AR68.30-P-4100LW |

| 4 | Remove bolts (3) | ||
| 5 | Loosen cover (1) and lower (arrow A) until electrical connectors (4, 5, 6 and 7) are accessible | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connectors (4, 5, 6 and 7) | ||
| 7 | Unscrew bolt (8) | ||
| 8 | Remove hood release handle (2) rearwards out of cover (1) | ||
| 9 | Unhook retaining tab on cover (1) from floor covering (arrow D) and remove cover (1) | ||
| 10 | Transfer diagnostic connector (X11/4) | When replacing cover (1). | |
| 11 | Transfer left footwell woofer (H4/42) | When replacing cover (1). | |
| 12 | Transfer left footwell vent air outlet temperature sensor (B10/35) | When replacing cover (1). | |
| 13 | Transfer left front footwell lamp (E17/16) | When replacing cover (1) | |
| 14 | Install in the reverse order |
