	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.
2	Open armrest (2) and release catch hooks (5) on rear air vent (1)	The unlocking of the catch hooks (5) is shown here by way of an example with a blind rivet (4) of approx. 2 mm. It is also possible to use other suitable tools or objects with a diameter of approx. 2 mm.
3	Remove rear air vent (1) upwards from the center console (3) and detach electrical connector (6)
4	Detach electrical connector (7) from rear automatic air conditioning operating unit (N22/4)	On vehicles with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning
5	Install in the reverse order
