	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Buffer the basic data of the automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7). Transfer the buffered basic data onto the new automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Move selector lever or gearshift lever to rearmost position	Depending on vehicle configuration.
3	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only with code (889) Keyless Go.
4	Remove radio		AR82.60-P-7502EW
5	Open cover (2) and remove screws (1)
6	Unclip automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7) by pulling to rear out of the instrument panel (3) and remove far enough from the instrument panel (3) so that the electrical connectors (4) are accessible
7	Separate electrical connectors (4)
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Teach in and normalize the actuator motors	The actuator motor is taught in via STAR DIAGNOSIS.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
