Notes on installing brake wear indicator contact sensors - AH42.10-P-0003-01RQ

The feed lines for the brake wear sensor and the electrical connections must be routed and fastened or mounted as shown.

Do not use defective or damaged parts again!

Electrical connections must latch into place correctly.

Otherwise ingressing moisture can result in the instrument cluster's warning lamp lighting up.

For reason of replacement part simplification, the brake linings must be installed so that the brake wear sensors can be installed in the corresponding installation position.

The corresponding installation position for the brake wear sensors is as follows:

Front axle, version 6
Rear axle, version 10
