| 1 | Carry out commissioning of rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) with STAR DIAGNOSIS | When replacing the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2). | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A | ||
| 2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit | ||
| 3 | Remove trunk floor covering from trunk. | ||
| 4 | Loosen cover of spare wheel well (1) until the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) is accessible | ||
| 5 | Loosen clip (2) with wiring harness | ||
| 6 | Unscrew nut (4) | ||
| 7 | Swivel rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) upwards (arrow A) and guide out of the bracket (5) | ||
| 8 | Disconnect all electrical connectors and unclip fuse holder (7) from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) at the catch hooks (3). Then remove rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2). | Unlock electrical connectors (6, 8) by pressing back the shackles using an extraction hook (arrows B, C) and disconnect. |
