Remove/install rear crossmember - AR64.20-P-1100EC

REMOVING Removing     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by high voltage used for electric welding. Risk of explosion  caused by welding in the area of highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury  caused by welding splatter and UV light while welding. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling welding fumes. Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extractor system. AS00.00-Z-0007-01A
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling vapors or swallowing adhesive. Risk of injury  caused by adhesive coming into contact with skin and eyes Wear respiratory protection, protective gloves and safety glasses. Pour adhesive into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. AS00.00-Z-0016-01A
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.

1 Remove detachable parts in area to be repaired    
2 Cover all detachable body components remaining in vehicle (area to be repaired) Tarp (fire-resistant)    
3 Completely remove lower rear center section   AR64.20-P-1000EA 
4 Remove rear consoles (1) IMPORTANT Only with damaged console
Carbide cutter
Round wire brush
Wet and dry vacuum cleaner

5 Remove rear cross member (2)   AR64.20-P-1100-01EC
Weld-spot milling machine
Body jig saw
Round wire brush
Wet and dry vacuum cleaner

6 Prepare rear console (1) for installation IMPORTANT Only with damaged console

7 Prepare rear crossmember (2) for installation   AR64.20-P-1100-02EC
Punching pliers

INSTALLING Install     
8 Install rear crossmember (2)  
Multifunction device (spot welding)
Vice grip pliers (standard)

9 Install rear consoles (1) IMPORTANT Only with damaged console
Straightening bracket set, passenger cars, cross-country vehicles (Celette)
 
Straightening tool set, passenger cars (Car Bench)
 
Multifunction device (spot welding)
 
MIG-MAG inert gas welder (steel, brazing, aluminum)
