	Remove/install
1	Remove cover (3) below dashboard on right		AR68.10-P-1520CW
2	Remove side covering (2).		Figure
3.1	Remove electrical connector on AUX connector (X39/45) from glove compartment (4).	On vehicles without code (518) Media interface	AR68.10-P-1400-01CW
3.2	Remove electrical connector on media interface (X18/70) on glove box (4)	On vehicles with code (518) Media Interface	AR68.10-P-1400-02CW
4	Unscrew bolt (5)	Rechargeable drill/screwdriver
5	Remove bolt (6)	Rechargeable drill/screwdriver
6	Open glove box lid (1) and unscrew bolts (7)	Tighten bolts (7) starting from center of vehicle. Rechargeable drill/screwdriver
7	Pull glove compartment (4) out of dashboard until electrical connectors (8, 9) are accessible.	Ensure that retaining tabs (10) are seated correctly in crossmember below dashboard.
8	Disconnect electrical connector (8) from glove box lamp (E13/1)
9	Disconnect electrical connector (9) from glove box socket (X58/31) and remove glove box (4)
10	Unlock locking pin (12) on damper (11) and pull out	When replacing damper (11). Check locking pin (12) for damage, replace if necessary. Retaining pin (12) must catch audibly.
11	Remove damper (11) from glove box (4)	When replacing damper (11).
12	Install in the reverse order
