Shown on left backrest (1) 

	Remove/install
1	Remove seat cushion	Model 213.1 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) except code 248 (Rear seat with integrated child seat)	AR91.12-P-1020LW
2	Remove screw/bolt (5) from belt end fitting	: Align belt end fitting such that seat belt is not twisted.
		Bolt, rear belt end fitting	*BA91.40-P-1005-01U
3	Turn belt guides (2) 90° and remove
4	Expose and disconnect electrical connectors on backrest	Number of electrical connectors can vary according to vehicle equipment.
5	Expose and disconnect pneumatic line on backrest	Model 213.1 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) with code 406 (Rear multicontour seat)
6	Remove bolts (3)
7	Remove screws/bolts (4) and remove backrest (1)
8	Install in the reverse order
