WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes from scalding with hot coolant splashing out. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant Open the cooling system only when the coolant temperature is below 90 ° C. Slowly open the cap and release the excess pressure. Do not pour cool liquid into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and protective goggles.

  Drain off     
1 Remove the cap from the low-temperature circuit expansion tank.    
2 Front and middle lower Engine 264 in Model 213, 238 AR61.20-P-1105LWE
Remove engine compartment panels. Engine 264 in Model 257 AR61.20-P-1105FR
3 Detach the coolant hose (4) from the radiator (1) and collect the escaping coolant in a suitable container.   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
4 Disconnect coolant hoses (2, 3) and collect escaping coolant in a suitable container.   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
  Pour in     
5 Connect coolant hoses (2, 3).   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
6 Attach the coolant hose (4) to the radiator (1).   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
7 Fill in the coolant and bleed the low-temperature circuit.   AR20.00-P-1142-04OLC
Test pressure for pressure-testing the engine cooling system *BE20.30-P-1005-01A

8 Check the low-temperature circuit for leaks.   AR09.41-P-1011MRH
9 Install the front and center lower engine compartment panels. Engine 264 in Model 213, 238 AR61.20-P-1105LWE
