| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove bottom trim for instrument panel on front passenger side. | AR68.10-P-1502LWE | |
| 3 | Remove floor covering at front on front passenger side. | AR68.20-P-2065LWE | |
| 4 | Unscrew nuts (1) and remove footrest (2). | ||
| 5 | Unscrew nut (3) and place vehicle interior prefuse box (F32/4) to one side with connected lines. | ||
| 6 | Unclip electric line (5) from holder (11). | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connectors (6) from powertrain control unit (N127). | ||

| 9 | Unscrew nuts (10) and place holder (11) with control units into footwell. | ||
| 10 | Disconnect electrical connector (12) from ambient lighting control unit (N162). | ||
| 11 | Unscrew nut (13) and remove ambient lighting control unit (N162). | ||
| 12 | Install in the reverse order. |
