WARNING Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism. When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m). AS82.30-Z-0001-01A 
  Risk of fire and explosion  caused by ignition of window washing fluid or antifreeze and their vapors. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing window washing fluid or antifreeze or inhaling their vapors. Risk of injury  or physical irritations caused by contact of window washing fluid or antifreeze with eyes, mucous membranes or skin. Wear protective clothing and tight-fitting safety glasses. No open flames, fire or ignition sources. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. When working with window washing fluids or antifreeze, do not eat, drink, or smoke. Do not inhale vapors and ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area. Store window washing fluid and antifreeze leakfree in safely closed original containers and out of the reach of children.   Preparatory activity     
1 Close hood.    
2 Close liftgate, doors and side windows.    
3 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15).    
  Check/correct     
4 Check spray nozzles of windshield washer system for proper operation and setting. If the spray jet does not hit inside the marked area,

correct the setting.
If a spray nozzle is clogged,

Clean spray nozzle and/or blow out with compressed air from inside to outside or replace spray nozzle.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
5 Check park position of left wiper blade (1) and right wiper blade (2) on windshield. IMPORTANT Wiper blade ends must be located at markings "A" and "B" (see arrows) on windshield and they may be offset by no more than 10 mm (0.39 Inch) upwards or downwards.
If the park position deviates,

Check and adjust wiper arms.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
6 Spray water onto windshield using windshield washer system.    
7 Switch on windshield wipers at highest setting.    
8 Check adjustment of wiper arms on windshield. NOTES
The left wiper blade (1) and right wiper blade (2) must not collide with the A-pillar or cowl.
Damage can otherwise occur.
If problems occur,

rectify problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
  Finishing activity     
9 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0".    
10 Check/correct fluid level of windshield washer system. Only for service with Plus package. AP82.35-P-8210C
