Remove/Install Crank Window In Front Door - AR72.10-P-1900LW

	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Remove
1	Remove door lining from left or right Front door.		AR72.10-P-1000LW
		Do not expose electrical lines and electrical connectors high tractive force. This can lead to contact problems and discontinuity. Do not disconnect electrical connectors from left Front door control unit or right Front door control unit.
2	Remove inner sealing rail (3).	Carefully lift inner sealing rail (3) out of fold of inner door panel. Otherwise the inner sealing rail (3) can deform and must be replaced. Long wedge	Fig 1
3	Remove both feed-through grommets (4, 5) from door module (6).
4	Move side window (1) to service position so that screws (7, 8) can be accessed through access openings in door module (6).
5	Disconnect electrical connectors at left Front door control unit or right Front door control unit and move door lining out of working area.
6	Release screws (7, 8).	Do not unscrew bolts (7, 8).
7	Tilt side window (1) at Rear upwards and remove upwards from window channel of Front door.
	Install
8	Insert side window (1) from above into window channel by exerting slight pressure in direction of window divider (arrows) until it is supported in mount.
9	Tighten screws (7, 8).	Model 205.0/1/2 Model 253, 293Bolt, side window to window lifter	*BA67.30-P-1001-01B
		Model 213Bolt, window to window lifter	*BA72.10-P-1006-01W
10	Install both feed-through grommets (4, 5) in door module (6).
11	Connect electrical wiring harness of removed door lining at left Front door control unit or right Front door control unit.
12	Lower side window (1).
13	Wet rubber seal of inner sealing rail (3) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
14	Install inner sealing rail (3).	When installing, ensure that the outer end of the inner sealing rail (3) is located below the door frame paneling (2).
15	Install door lining at left or right Front door.		AR72.10-P-1000LW
