REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove detachable parts in area of repair point.    
2 Cover all detachable parts remaining in vehicle with spark protection blankets.    
3.1 Remove main floor (1), connecting carrier (2), front seat front crossmember (3), front seat rear crossmember (4), reinforcement (5) and lower longitudinal member (6). Model 205.0/1/2/3 AR63.40-P-1180-24LW .
3.2 Remove main floor (1), connecting carrier (2), front seat front crossmember (3), front seat rear crossmember (4) and lower longitudinal member (6). Model 213, 253 Model 293 AR63.40-P-1180-24LW .
3.3 Remove main floor (1), connecting carrier (2), front seat front crossmember (3), front seat rear crossmember (4), reinforcement (5), reinforcement (7) and lower longitudinal member (6). Model 205.4 AR63.40-P-1180-24LW .
4 Remove mounting support (8). Only if mounting support (8) is damaged. AR63.40-P-1180-24LW .
5.1 Prepare main floor (1), connecting carrier (2) and lower longitudinal member (6). Model 205.0/1/2/3, 213, 253

INSTALLING Install     
  The high voltage used for electric welding presents a lethal hazard. Risk of explosion  from welding in areas close to highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury  from weld splatter and UV-light when welding. Risk of poisoning  from inhaling welding gases Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and a protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extraction system. AS00.00-Z-0007-01A .
  Measures for preventing damage to components when performing electric welding and soldering work   AH60.00-P-0001-02A .

6.1 Install main floor (1), connecting carrier (2), front seat front crossmember (3), front seat rear crossmember (4), reinforcement (5) and lower longitudinal member (6). Model 205.0/1/2/3 AR63.40-P-1180-27LW .

6.2 Install main floor (1), connecting carrier (2), front seat front crossmember (3), front seat rear crossmember (4) and lower longitudinal member (6). Model 213, 253

7 Install mounting support (8). Only if mounting support (8) is replaced. AR63.40-P-1180-27LW .

8 Clean weld joints and sheet metal flange.    
9 Remove spark protection blankets.    
10 Clean repair area.

Treat repair areas with primer filler. Notes on paintwork repairs IMPORTANT Use only primer filler approved by Daimler AG:
