The following operation steps describe installation in a left-hand drive vehicle. With right-hand drive vehicles these operation steps must be carried out mirror-inverted.

Connection scheme

1. Strap down old wiring harness (arrows), and fix in place with cable ties.

   The old wiring harness (arrows) is no longer required.

2. Route white 4-pin plug (14.3) and blue 4-pin plug (14.4) to device installation frame of head unit.
3. Route new SD card navigation wiring harness (14) along given lines, as shown.

   The white 4-pin plug (14.1) and the blue 4-pin plug (14.2) are connected later on to the multimedia connection unit.

4. Route red/green line (RD/GN) into front passenger footwell.

5. Route red/green line (RD/GN) to front passenger side fuse box on A-pillar (F1/3).
6. Install red/green line (RD/GN) into contact cavity "F313" of front passenger side fuse box on A-pillar (F1/3).

   The contact cavity "F313" is labeled.
