| 2 | Check charging cable (1a) over the entire length, plugs and switches for cracks, kinks, bites, cuts, crushed areas, chafe marks and other damage. | If problems occur, ↓ replace charging cable (1a). |

| 3 | Check charging cable (1b) over the entire length, plugs and switches for cracks, kinks, bites, cuts, crushed areas, chafe marks and other damage. | If problems occur, ↓ replace charging cable (1b). |

| 4 | Place charging cables (1a) and (1b) in vehicle. | ||

| 5 | Check charger feed socket (2) for damage. | If problems occur, ↓ Replace charger feed socket (2). |

| 6 | Check that cap (3) is firmly seated on charger feed socket (2). | If problems occur, ↓ Replace charger feed socket (2). |

| 7 | Check drain (4) for clear passage and soiling. | Remove any soiling. This is because water must not collect in the charger feed socket (2) area. If problems occur, ↓ rectify the problems. |
