Location

The Audio/COMMAND display is fitted to the top center of the instrument panel.

Task

The Audio/COMMAND display serves the uniform presentation of user-relevant operating and information windows as well as the presentation of video picture information.

The Audio/COMMAND display receives the following signals:

Circuit 30g and circuit 31
Control signals (e.g. switch on) via telematics CAN (CAN A) from the head unit
Picture signals via the low voltage differential signal (LVDS) interface from the head unit

The Audio/COMMAND display evaluates the input factors in the integrated microprocessor and actuates the color screen.

Body

The Audio/COMMAND display is a 8" display (free standing) with the following characteristics:

800 x 480 pixel resolution
