| 4 | Unscrew nut (2) from holder (3) | ||
| 5 | Tilt rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) forwards and remove from holder (4) | Make sure that electrical lines are not pinched. Otherwise the electrical system could be damaged. |

| 6 | Disconnect all electrical connectors | The circuit 30 electrical connectors (8, 9) must be disconnected first during removal and connected last during Installation. Otherwise short circuits may occur. Disconnect the electrical connectors (8, 9) by pushing back the tabs using a suitable tool (arrows D, E). The plug can otherwise be damaged. |

| 7 | Unclip fuse holder (7) from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) (arrows C) and remove rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) | ||
| 8 | Compare the components of the new rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) with those of the old rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2), if necessary adapt components to the respective vehicle equipment accordingly | When replacing the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2). | |
