Remove/Install Night View Assist Control Unit - AR54.30-P-3100EW

MODEL 212, 218 with CODE (610) Night vision assist

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO stop/start button from the EZS control unit IMPORTANT KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.  
2 Remove right-hand door sill molding Model 212

3 Loosen edge guard in the lower area of the lower A-pillar panel (1)    
4 Remove A-pillar paneling at bottom (1)    
5 Unscrew nuts (2) and remove Night View Assist control unit (N101) NOTES For vehicles with diesel engines avoid contacting the Night View Assist control unit (N101) with stud carrying circuit 30 on the bottom A-pillar, as otherwise a short circuit may occur!
Cover up or tape up the stud when removing the Night View Assist control unit (N101).
 
6 Disconnect electrical connectors (3)    
7 Install in the reverse order    
8 Connect Star Diagnosis, read out fault memory and calibrate Night View Assist camera When replacing Night View Assist control unit (N101).
