	Risk of injury  due to fan starting unexpectedly	Do not reach into the rotation or hazard area of the fan. Wear closed and close-fitting work clothes.	AS20.40-Z-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Open engine hood and secure against falling down
2.1	Unclip drip rail (1) from retaining clip (2)	MODEL 117, 156, 176 Place clean rag between engine hood and drip rail (1). Otherwise the drip rail (1) can be damaged. Reach below drip rail (1) in area of hinge. Press drip rail (1) upward (arrow a) and hold down, push drip rail (1) toward inside (arrow b) and pivot upward out of catch hook (2.1). Then push drip rail (1) toward outside (arrow c) and pivot upward out of catch hook (2.2).
2.2	Unclip drip rail (1) from cutout (arrow e) in fender	MODEL 242, 246 Place clean rag between engine hood and drip rail (1). Otherwise the drip rail (1) can be damaged. Reach below drip rail (1) in area of hinge. Push catch hook (6) toward outside (arrow d) and guide drip rail (1) upward (arrow a) out of cutout (arrow e) in fender.
3.1	Unclip drip rail (1) up to roof railing and remove	MODEL 156 with CODE 720 (Roof rails in black) with CODE 725 (Aluminum roof rails) Carefully unclip drip rail (1). Otherwise the drip rail (1) can deform permanently and must be replaced.

3.2	Unclip drip rail (1) up to roof paneling out of mounting clips (3)	MODEL 117, 176, 242, 246 MODEL 156 without CODE 720 (Roof rails in black) without CODE 725 (Aluminum roof rails) Carefully unclip drip rail (1). Otherwise the drip rail (1) can deform permanently and must be replaced.

4.1	Unclip drip rail (1) in area of roof paneling, pull out of shackle (4) toward front and remove	MODEL 117 MODEL 156 without CODE 720 (Roof rails in black) without CODE 725 (Aluminum-look roof rails) Carefully unclip drip rail (1). Otherwise the drip rail (1) can deform permanently and must be replaced. Check retaining clips for damage, replace if necessary. Ensure that hook (5) is seated correctly below shackle (4).

4.2	Unclip drip rail (1) in area of roof paneling and remove	MODEL 176, 242, 246 Carefully unclip drip rail (1). Otherwise the drip rail (1) can deform permanently and must be replaced. Drip rail (1) should be flush with roof paneling. Check retaining clips for damage, replace if necessary.
