Mechanical Refrigerant Compressor, Basic Function - GF83.55-P-2001A

Engine all (CAR) 

General 

The mechanical refrigerant compressor draws in the refrigerant and compresses it. It is driven by the engine via the belt drive.

Regulation of the mechanical refrigerant compressor is carried out steplessly by the climate control, control system.

Location 

The mechanical refrigerant compressor is mounted on engine and integrated in the belt drive.

Function requirements 

Function 

The climate control, control system regulates the output of the refrigerant compressor steplessly up to 100 % through a regulation valve.

Two variants are currently used:
