Location

The AMG suspension control unit is installed on the left in the bottom of the trunk.

Tasks

The AMG suspension control unit reads in the signals from various sensors via the CAN network and uses them to calculate the specified status of the active engine mounts and the locking ratio of the electronic differential lock. The AMG suspension control unit transmits the signal "Specified status of mounts" via the AMG CAN (CAN AMG) to the active engine mounts control unit (N3/42), which actuates the active engine mounts. To actuate the electronic differential lock, the AMG suspension control unit transmits the signal "Locking ratio of electronic differential lock" via the AMG CAN to the electronic differential control unit (N3/2).

Coding

The AMG suspension control unit is codable and flashable, i.e. the complete software in the control unit can be updated.

CAN network

The AMG suspension control unit is a subscriber on the following CAN network and exchanges data with other control units:

Input and output signals

The following input signals are evaluated by the AMG suspension control unit and the corresponding output signals issued:

Direct input/output signals

Input and output factors for the following components are read in or output over direct lines by the electronic differential control unit:
