The telephone control unit provides various telephony functions and enables telephony via the telephone antennas of the vehicle. The telephone control unit contains a card reader for a SIM card (Subscriber Identification Module).

The telephone control unit is a participant of the telematics CAN.

Location 

The telephone control unit is located in the glove compartment housing.
