	Remove
1	Release front SAM control unit (N10/6)
			AR54.21-P-1254LW
2	Detach door seals from entrance area at front left and right
3	Remove right and left front door sills with suitable means and remove adhesive residue
	Notes on removing adhesive residues and foils on paint and metal surfaces with surface conditioning disks		AH00.00-P-0013-01AK
		Commercially available devices/tools  Battery-operated drill Left and right door sill moldings are no longer required. Use commercially available surface conditioning disk with dia.100 mm.
4	Remove front floor covering on driver side
			AR68.20-P-2050LW
5	Remove front floor covering on front passenger side
			AR68.20-P-2070LW
6	Remove front footrest on passenger side
7	Fit electrical wiring harness of illuminated door sill molding with Mercedes-Benz lettering to the front		AZ82.20-P-0005-01LW

	Notes on the use of paint scraping nuts on ground connections		AH00.19-P-1000-20A
		Right front footwell ground point (CAN)	*BA00.19-P-1019-01E

9	Install left front illuminated door sill molding (E14/47) and right front illuminated door sill molding (E14/48)		AZ82.20-P-0005-10LW

		Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
	Check
10	Carry out function check	Front left illuminated door sill molding (E14/47) or front right illuminated door sill molding (E14/48) is switched on by opening corresponding front door. Automatic shutoff takes place after approx. 5 min.
	Install
11	Install front footrest on front passenger side
12	Install front floor covering on front passenger side

13	Install front floor covering on driver's side
			AR68.20-P-2050LW
14	Install door seals in entrance area at front right and left
15	Fasten front SAM control unit (N10/6) in place
			AR54.21-P-1254LW
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
16	Attach a note "Illuminated door sill moldings retrofitted as per AZ82.20-P-0005LW" under field organization texts to design groups 68 and 82
