Do not use the cover in the area of the roll bar as a storage place for objects.
When working in the area of the roll bar, serious injuries can occur due to sudden extension of the roll bar. The roll bar is spring-loaded.
General rules of conduct and safety precautions
- Keep body parts out of the area where the roll bars extend. Particularly during diagnosis and maintenance work on the Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/10) (the corresponding sensors are integrated in the Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/10)).
- Hold the roll bars via the plastic housing and always keep extendable parts away from your body!
- The roll bars are to be handled such that injury is unlikely in the event of unintentional activation.
- Always set down/store removed roll bars on a level surface so that these do not pose a hazard.
- Do not set down any objects in the area of the roll bar, particularly not on the crossmember trim.
