Multigrade oils of the specified SAE-grade can be used year round taking the outside temperature into consideration. Before the cold season begins, ensure that the SAE-grade you use is sufficient for the temperatures in which you are active, taking the temperature application table to the right into account.
The temperature properties of engine oils can be significantly worsened, for example by aging and soot and fuel entry when in operation. An oil change before the cold season begins with an approved engine oil in the suitable SAE-grade is therefore highly recommended.
