	Remove
1	Remove upper engine cover.
2	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter.
3	Unclip coolant line (1) from bracket (arrow).
4	Detach partial load bleed line from air intake pipe (4).
5	Release and disconnect electrical connector for full-load operation vent line heater element (R39/2).
6.1	Pull off the full-load bleed line from the full-load operation vent line heater element (R39/2). 6.2	Remove full load bleed line with oil separator. 		The full load bleed line, oil separator and air intake pipe (4) must always be replaced together because they are permanently connected with each other.
7	Unclip subharness (2) from the air intake pipe (4).
8	Loosen clamps (3, 5) and detach air intake pipe (4).
9	Remove compensation ring between air intake pipe (4) and exhaust gas turbocharger from exhaust gas turbocharger.
	Install
10	Install compensating ring in the fitting of the air intake pipe (4) and wet with lubricant.	Replace compensating ring. Lubricant	*BR00.45-Z-1032-06A
11	Wet air intake pipe (4) on the upper fitting to the air filter housing using lubricant.	Lubricant	*BR00.45-Z-1032-06A
12	Position air intake pipe (4).
13	Tighten clamps (3, 5).
14	Clip subharness (2) into air intake pipe (4).
15.1	Slide full-load bleed line onto the full-load operation vent line heater element (R39/2). 15.2	Install full load bleed line with oil separator. 16	Connect electrical connector of the full-load operation vent line heater element (R39/2).
17	Slide partial load bleed line onto air intake pipe (4).
18	Clip coolant line (1) into bracket (arrow).
19	Install engine air intake duct upstream of air filter.
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
20	Perform engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
21	Install upper engine cover.
