	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Switch off ignition and leave transmitter key in electronic ignition lock control unit	Without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO) The transmitter key must not be removed, otherwise the steering lock will lock and it cannot then be removed.
1.2	Switch off ignition and leave start-stop KEYLESS-GO button in electronic ignition lock control unit	With code 889 (KEYLESS-GO) The stop-start KEYLESS GOO button must not be removed, as otherwise the steering lock will lock and it cannot then be removed.
2	Remove steering column tube module		AR54.25-P-2802NKB
3	Remove driver kneebag	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 242, 246 with TRANSMISSION 711 with CODE 294 (Kneebag)
			AR91.60-P-0200NKB
4	Unscrew bolts (2) and lower steering column tube (1)	The bolts (2) are accessible from below through the opening of the removed driver kneebag or from the front under the instrument cluster.
		Bolt, jacket tube to cross member	*BA46.10-P-1001-03I
5	Remove bolt (3) from electric steering lock control unit (N265)	The bolt (3) can be accessed from above between the lowered steering column tube (1) and the instrument cluster.
		Bolt, steering lock control unit to steering column tube	*BA46.10-P-1002-03I
6	Remove electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) from steering column tube (1) and disconnect electrical connector (4)
7	Install in the reverse order
