	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Connect diagnostic system and perform initial startup of electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)	When replacing the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73).
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Move adjustable steering column forward and to the uppermost position
3	Remove steering column tube module		AR54.25-P-2802NKB
4	Unclip cover in cutout of steering column tube module towards rear
5	Remove driver kneebag	MODEL 242, 246 with CODE 294 (Kneebag)
			AR91.60-P-0200NKB
6	Remove bolts (6) from instrument panel (1)
7	Remove foam material (7)
8	Unlock catch hook (3) in direction of arrow and unclip electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) from instrument panel (1) towards the rear
9	Separate electrical connections (4) at electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)
10	Pull down instrument panel (1) carefully and guide out and remove electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)	In order to remove the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) from between the instrument panel (1), the steering column tube (2) and the instrument panel carrier (5), the opening for the transmitter key on the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) must point to the left as shown.
11	Install in the reverse order
