Remove/install pyrofuse - AR54.10-P-1180NKE

DANGER Risk of death  when touching components on vehicles with high-voltage on-board electrical system Do not touch components and open lines of the high-voltage on-board electrical system. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers), must not  carry out any work on high-voltage on-board electrical systems. AS54.00-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform disable for the high-voltage on-board electrical system   AR54.10-P-1150NKE 
IMPORTANT If the airbags have been deployed, a manual power disconnect must be performed.  
2 Disconnect high-voltage connector (37) from high-voltage battery (G5) and cover with suitable protective covers INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure that the high-voltage connector (37) engages properly.

3 Unclip coolant line (1)    
4 Disconnect electrical connector (2)    
5 Remove charge control unit (N83/10)   AR54.10-P-5106NKE 
NOTES Protect charge control unit (N83/10) using rags.
Otherwise the charger control unit (N83/10) may be damaged.
IMPORTANT Place charger control unit (N83/10) with coolant lines connected to the front and fix in place.
 
6 Remove cover (3) IMPORTANT To do this, unscrew screw/bolts (4).  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, cover to high-voltage distributor *BA54.10-P-1001-03D 
7 Remove cover (5) IMPORTANT Start by removing screw/bolts (6).  
8 Unscrew nuts (7) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, pyrotechnical battery contact breaker to high-voltage distributor *BA54.10-P-1005-03D 
9 Remove shims (8) and cable lug (9)    
10 Release and disconnect electrical connector (10)    
11 Remove high-voltage pyrofuse (F19)    
12 Install in the reverse order    
13 Perform protective earth conductor and insulation resistance test The vehicle must be de-energized.

14 Read out fault memory and erase if necessary When replacing the high-voltage pyrofuse (F19).
