	Lift/lower vehicle
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off on its own when jacked up. Risk of injury caused by rotating parts when working on running engine or drive train. 1	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the body vehicle lift support points (1)
2	Adapt the support plates of the vehicle lift swivel arms to the height of the vehicle	Turn support plates until they make contact with the body vehicle lift support points (1).

		Only position post of pit lift or floor jack on front axle vehicle lift support point (2) or rear axle vehicle lift support point (3). Otherwise damage to axles, major assemblies or the body may occur.
7	Secure the vehicle against tilting and toppling	Place jack stands under the respective body vehicle lift support points (1).
