	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit
2	Move driver seat towards the front
3	Remove rear center console paneling		AR68.20-P-2350NKB
4	Unscrew nuts (2)	Ensure that center console (1) is installed without tension.
5	Move front seats toward rear
6	Remove rear center console covers and front center console covers		AR68.20-P-2350NKB
7	Unscrew nut (3)	Ensure that center console (1) is installed without tension.
8	Disconnect mobile phone electrical connector (X39/37)	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 242, 246 with CODE 386 (Comfort telephony)
9	Disconnect electrical connectors from front center console (X138/1)	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 242, 246 with CODE 518 (Media interface)
	Notes on avoiding damage to optical fibers during repair work		AH82.60-P-0001-05AK
10	Disconnect electrical connector (9)
11	Remove foam insulation (6)
12	Disconnect electrical connectors from Media Interface Video (X18/69)	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 242, 246 with CODE 518 (Media interface)
13	Remove bolts (5)	Ensure that center console (1) is installed without tension.
14	Lift lug (13) and guide center console (1) toward rear out of instrument panel and remove	Guide center console (1) into instrument panel. Position floor covering (12) on left and right at guides (11) and below center console (1) (arrows).
15	Install in the reverse order
