5	Mask connector on electrical connector (3) with warning sticker	On vehicles with code (412) Vario roof in glass version To prevent unauthorized contact with MAGIC SKY CONTROL control unit (N53).

6	Mark installation position of electrical and hydraulic lines and Bowden cables (4) fastened to the Vario roof front secant (1)

7	Expose all electrical and hydraulic lines fastened to Vario roof front section (1)
8	Remove left and right lock on Vario roof front section (9)		AR77.33-P-3487W
9	Remove both locks (5)	Lay front locks (5) with attached left Vario roof locked limit switch and right Vario roof locked limit switch down in vehicle interior.	AR77.33-P-3400W
10	Unscrew bolts (6) on left and right side of vehicle and remove together with associated threaded bushings (7).	Press bolts (6) toward center of vehicle when unscrewing. Otherwise the bolts (6) can damage the side seals on the Vario roof front section (1). Observe installation position of threaded bushings (7) Helper required to hold Vario roof front section (1).

11	Unscrew bolts (8) on left and right side of vehicle, remove Vario roof front secant (1) with aid of helper and lay down on suitable base	Two bushings are located at the screw-on points. Secure against falling down.

12	Install in the reverse order
