| 2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) | ||
| 3 | Remove right side paneling in rear | AR68.30-P-4780RK | |
| 4 | Remove frame (3) | ||
| 5 | Unscrew bolts (1) and remove bracket (2) | ||
| 6 | Unscrew nut (4) | ||
| 7 | Lift out rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) | The electrical system can otherwise be damaged. |

| 8 | Disconnect electrical connections (8, 9) | The circuit 30 electrical connectors (8, 9) must be disconnected first and connected last. Short circuits can otherwise occur. |

| 10 | Unclip fuse holder (7) from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) (arrows C) and remove rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order |
