	Remove/install
1	Remove paneling from C-pillars	MODEL 222.0/1	AR68.30-P-4490LF
		MODEL 222.9	AR68.30-P-4490LFA
2	Remove headliner service flap (7)
3	Remove panelings from B-pillars		AR68.30-P-4700LF
4	Remove paneling on A-pillars		AR68.30-P-4050LF
5	Remove cover from inside rearview mirror
6	Remove overhead control panel control unit (N70)		AR82.20-P-1000LF
7	Remove left and right sun visor (2)
8	Remove front grab handle (3) and rear grab handle (4) from headliner (1)	Disconnect electrical connection from grab handles (4). Transfer sheet metal clips.
9	Detach edge guard (8) in area of headliner (1)
10	Open front and rear roller sun blind (5, 6)	On vehicles with CODE 413 (Panoramic sliding roof with ASD)
11	Remove rear air conditioner housing	MODEL 222.1/9 with CODE 582 (Rear air conditioner)	AR83.50-P-9020LF
12	Remove glove compartment	MODEL 222.1/9	AR68.10-P-1400LF
13	Remove driver seat	MODEL 222.1/9	AR91.10-P-1000LF
14.1	Move passenger seat toward rear and to laying position	MODEL 222.1/9
14.2	Move driver and passenger seat toward rear and move backrest downward as far as possible	MODEL 222.0
15	Remove coat hook (9) and unscrew bolts (10)	MODEL 222.0/1
16	Remove speaker in headliner (1)	MODEL 222.0/1/9 with CODE 811 (Advanced sound system)	AR82.62-P-7876LF
17	Unscrew bolts from bracket of speaker	On vehicles with CODE 811 (Advanced sound system)
18	Unhook headliner (1) on frame of panoramic sliding roof	On vehicles with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof
19	Unclip retaining clips (11) and push headliner (1) toward rear	Push headliner (1) toward rear until guide hook (12) on headliner (1) can be guided out of mounts on roof paneling. The headliner (1) is additionally fastened to the roof paneling with 4 magnets (14).
20	Guide headliner (1) to passenger side in direction of arrow	Helper required.
21	Transfer wiring harness (15) on headliner (1)	When replacing headliner (1)
22	Remove mirror in rear (13)	When replacing headliner (1)
23	Install in the reverse order
