	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A

	Remove
1	Reduce pressure in AIRmatic system using diagnostic system
			AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2	Detach corresponding front complete wheel
			AP40.10-P-4050HA
3	Detach suspension strut (1) on spring control arm (2)
4	Push suspension strut (1) towards steering knuckle and fix in place	Always place a rag between the suspension strut (1) and the spring control arm (2). Otherwise the spring control arm (2) may be damaged.
5	Position pulling device (01) on spring control arm (2) and press out suspension strut joint (3) toward rear	After pressing out, detach the pulling device (01). Removal and installation tool	Fig 2
	Install
6	Position suspension strut joint (3) from front onto chamfer on spring control arm (2)
7	Position insertion tool (02) on suspension strut joint (3) and spring control arm (2), align it and press in suspension strut joint (3) so that it is flush	After pressing in, detach the insertion device (02).

8	Mount suspension strut (1) to spring control arm (2)	Do not damage the seal bellows on the suspension strut joint (3) when mounting the suspension strut (1). Otherwise the suspension strut joint (3) will have to be replaced. Nut, front suspension strut to spring control arm	*BA32.25-P-1002-04O
9	Attach corresponding front complete wheel
			AP40.10-P-4050HA
10	Fill AIRmatic system
11	Check AIRmatic system for leaktightness		AR32.22-P-8100LF
